Itinerary
Meet on arrival at Chandigarh station/airport and transfer by surface to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit The Mall Road, Scandal Point, The Ridge and The Christ Church. Overnight at hotel.
Travel by surface from Shimla to Sangla traveling on Hindustan Tibet Road enroute crossing Kufri, Narkanda, Rampur and visiting Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. On arrival check in and overnight at hotel/ camp.
After breakfast an excursion visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul & Rakchham. Drive back to Sangla. Rest of day free to relax or make walk to nearby Batseri village. Overnight at hotel/ camp.
After breakfast we leave for Recong Peo which is district headquater of Kinnaur district. Walk the market around where you can buy the famous Kinnauri shawls and camps. Further climb up to Kalpa which is a beautiful village set up in backdrop of holy Kinner Kailash mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Rogi village and the famous suicide point. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at Kalpa drive to Tirthan valley, heading back on Hindustan Tibet Road till Rampur beyond which we cross the Satluj valley to enter outer Seraj region. We climb up to Jalori Pass (3230 m) which is entrance into Tirthan valley and onwards to Kullu valley from Satluj valley. We drive down to valley flower and follow Tirthan river to arrive at our hotel located on banks of river. Check in and overnight at hotel.
Today you may go on an excursion to Sarchi village which is located 15 kms you’re your hotel ShivAdya, on mountain top and the drive winds up the mountain. Explore the village, walk around, spend some time chatting to locals. Return back to ShivAdya for a relaxed afternoon. ***alternatively you may enjoy Trout fishing. Overnight at hotel.
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Chandigarh airport/ station to travel onwards to your home with memories of Kinnaur and Tirthan valley.
